Near Light is a playful VR and AR game development studio backed by serious gaming pedigree. We have been an nDreams studio since 2022, forming an important part of the world’s biggest, most experienced VR games publisher.

Our studio is the culmination of a 20-year collaboration between co-founders Paul Mottram and Ben Hebb, who draw on experience of partnerships with the likes of Sony, Disney, Activision, Microsoft and LEGO across a variety of gaming genres. With a legacy of pioneering new ways to play, including work on EyeToy Play, SingStar, Zumba Fitness and Guitar Hero, they remain passionate about doing things differently in the fast-moving worlds of VR and AR gaming.

Founded in Brighton back in 2016, we’ve been working in VR since day one. We are on a mission alongside nDreams to create audience-driven titles that will be remembered for years to come.
